Here There Be Monsters...

2009

I finished up the 2008 art gallery with some sketches that were floating around. Check them out!!

2008 was a difficult year for me. A lot of things changed, a lot of things didn’t. I think it’s more the things that didn’t change that made this year so hard for me. All in all, if I focus on all of my achievements, no matter how small, I can leave 2008 behind with no regrets and gear up for 2009 with enthusiasm. I have a lot of things planned for Fried Wontons and for my business, Nonesuch Garden. This will be the year I really use the internet to my advantage. It’s the FUTURE! I have no more excuses.

As far as resolutions go, I have all the typical ones in mind. Make more art, lose weight, save money, all that good stuff. In all honesty, I didn’t do so well with my resolutions for 2008. A lot of things spiraled out of control and I lost sight of my goals. But 2009 is the year for CHANGE. Our first African American President who will be sworn into office in 19 days is proof of this. Things will change for the better in 2009. I can make it happen.

The Perfectionist

I can’t leave things alone if they’re not perfect. I think I may have fixed the resolution problem with the background image so there won’t be any white borders on wide screen monitors anymore. (You’ll have to tell me! I checked it on my Mom’s computer, but I won’t be satisfied until I hear from a few more people.) I also made the image a little smaller so it’s not taking up so much space at the top. ThereR
