I just want to share a few things about these rhinos and the “Great Ceiling.” To me, it looks as if the two rhinos on the left were drawn by the same person. The third rhino on the right looks like a copy done by someone either at the same time or later on. Maybe an artist was giving an instruction to an apprentice. Or perhaps someone found the rhino drawings and decided to add their own rhino. Who knows! It’s fun to ponder the possibilities as to why the rhino on the right is different from the other two. As for the “Great Ceiling” it looks like most, if not all, of the drawings there could have been drawn by the same person. It felt like I was looking at someone’s sketchbook! Of course I can’t be sure if any of this is even remotely true, but I wanted to share what I observed.
