Next weekend is the MoCCA Festival! I will be exhibiting with my awesome friend, Patricia Burgess. We will be at table K6!
See you there!!!
They now have their very own website! Click the banner below to check it out!
If you want to keep up with Nonesuch Garden updates, please subscribe to the new site’s RRS Feed.
New daily sketches will be up soon. And probably a frantic post or two about the upcoming MoCCA Festival!
The MoCCA Festival is only a month away! How did this happen?!
I had a very unproductive year concerning comics. Can I make something decent in one month? Probably… If I had any ideas! I used to be really good at coming up with short story ideas. Now, all I can think about is long format stories. What to do?!
The current plan is to draw the first chapter of a ghost story that’s been rattling around in my brain for years and years. Then perhaps I could release another chapter (or two) at SPX in September. It might be worth a try! If all else fails, I’ll get it started and that’s good regardless of whether or not I debut it at MoCCA.
Wish me luck! *Flexes drawing hand.*
I’ve been working on these for a good two weeks now. I suppose there’s no harm in sharing them! I was going to keep them to myself, but this is really the only art I’m working on right now other than filling Nonesuch Garden orders. I need to keep up with this blog so here they are. I’ll be posting these sporadically. I can’t keep to updating schedules…
I finally got my new photography set up together and started taking new picture of some of my dolls. I’ve always wanted to do “in hand” shots to show scale, but I didn’t own a tripod until recently. If you don’t own a tripod, get one! I wish I had gotten one sooner… It makes a huge difference.

I will be re-shooting all the dolls I have in stock over the next couple of weeks.

Characters from my graphic novel… Their clothes are still a bit too modern, but I like where I’m going with a softer cartoon look for them. I’ve been trying too hard to draw them more realisticly and I can never seem to get them to look right. So I’m not going to fight it anymore and draw how I feel instead.
