“How The Alligator Got His Brown Scaly Skin” was written by the lovely Joyce Bear. She is 5/8 Muscogee (Creek) American Indian. She works for her tribe as the manager of the Cultural Preservation Office. She has written several children’s stories, but has never had any of them published. I am ecstatic to have been paired up with her to finally bring one of her stories to life!
This is a preview of the 14 page, full color comic which will be appearing in Trickster, a comics anthology of Native American animal trickster stories. It’s going to be SPECTACULAR!!!
