Cool and Warm

Remember that drawing of Hodei I made awhile back? This one:

Well, the fruit of my labor has finally arrived! My AMAZING iPad 2 case from Grove Made arrived yesterday:

The image is laser engraved on the leather cover. The case is handmade by the Grove Team in Portland, Oregon. Their attention to detail and dedication to perfection is breathtaking. It’s one of the most beautiful things I have ever held in my hands. I love the contrast between the cool metal and glass of the iPad and the warm bamboo and leather of the case. It makes my iPad 2 feel complete! I know I will be inspired to work on my graphic novel every time I look at it!

Look! I actually finished a drawing!

I’m getting an iPad 2 and I found this AMAZING case for it by Grove Made. The leather cover can be custom engraved with your own artwork. This is what I came up with! I hope it works out. I’m waiting to hear back from Grove Made about the format/halftone before I place my order.

I’m so incredibly excited about this! Not only am I getting an iPad 2, I get to carry it around wrapped in my own artwork! I hope that seeing Hodei looking out at me from my Grove Made case will inspire me to work on my graphic novel at least a little everyday. :-)
